Description and Requirements

The Solutions & Services Group (SSG) is a newly established business unit within Lenovo aimed at driving the company's transformation by delivering incremental business across product-related services, managed services, AI & hybrid cloud services, smart vertical solutions, and 'as a service' offerings, including Device as a Service (DaaS) and Truscale.

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Vice President, Delivery Operations and Geo Delivery Leader to lead and oversee all service delivery operations across the Group's five major geographic regions. This is a high-impact, executive role responsible for the seamless and effective delivery of our entire portfolio-including hardware, maintenance & operations, and industry-specific solutions. The successful candidate will be a key driver of operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and profitable growth, ensuring our delivery capabilities scale with our ambitious business objectives.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Strategic Delivery Leadership: Develop and execute a cohesive global delivery strategy for all hardware, operational support, and industry solutions across the five regions. Ensure alignment with the overall business unit and corporate strategy.
  • P&L and Operational Accountability: Hold ultimate responsibility for the Delivery P&L across all regions, driving cost efficiency, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring profitability of service delivery.
  • Cross-Regional Governance: Establish and maintain a standardized governance framework for delivery operations. Ensure consistent processes, metrics, and performance standards (SLAs, KPIs) are met or exceeded globally.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the senior executive point of contact for delivery performance for internal stakeholders (Sales, Product, C-Suite) and key global clients. Manage escalations and ensure superior client satisfaction.
  • Talent Development and Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of regional delivery leaders and managers. Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Delivery Operations Excellence: Oversee all aspects of Delivery Operations. Drive initiatives to improve quality, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate delivery and operational risks across the global footprint. Ensure business continuity and compliance with relevant regulations.

Basic Requirements

* Education: Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

* Experience: 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in service delivery, operations, or professional services within a global, complex technology organization.

Preferred Requirements

* Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in a senior leadership role (VP, SVP, or equivalent) with P&L responsibility, managing large-scale, cross-regional delivery operations.

* Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of delivering integrated solutions encompassing hardware infrastructure, IT operations, and industry-specific software/application services.

* Leadership Skills: Exceptional ability to lead, influence, and inspire large, geographically dispersed teams. A proven mentor and developer of senior talent.

* Strategic Mindset: Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business goals into operational execution plans.

* Communication: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the executive presence to engage effectively with C-level executives, board members, and major clients.

* Global Perspective: Extensive experience working in and managing multi-cultural, international teams. Willingness to travel internationally as required.
