The University of Wisconsin Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology seeks a physician scientist (tenure track) to join us as faculty. Key Job Responsibilities:* The successful candidate will provide direct patient care at University Hospitals and Clinics, the William S. Middleton Veteran's Affairs Hospital, UnityPoint Meriter Hospital and at UW Health approved locations as well as outreach locations. * The primary clinical practice will include procedural, inpatient, and ambulatory care, to include endoscopy procedures, as well as sub-specialty care in gastroenterology. * The candidate will also be involved with teaching medical students, residents and fellows. * The successful candidate will participate in administrative and committee work to support the clinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the School of Medicine and Public Health. An essential part of these duties will be working in a collegial relationship with other faculty members. Department:School of Medicine and Public Health, Department of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology Compensation:Negotiable. 12 months. MD, DO, or equivalent is required.
