What to Expect
The Failure Analysis Team's mission is todetermineroot cause and contributing factors to improve the experience of Tesla's products by reducing field issues, in collaboration with a community of other engineering teams. Engineers and technicians on the teamare responsible fora wide variety of vehicle and energy product systems for existing models and models in development. This extremely high visibility individual contributor role requires extensive hands-on work focused on CT scanning for electromechanical failure analysis and root cause activities. In this role, you willoperateCT/X-ray systems to diagnose failure modes in Tesla components. You will collaborate with engineering teams tovalidateimaging protocols for accuracy and repeatability across diverse product lines. This role requires documenting findings and presenting actionable insights to stakeholders while supporting lab safety and equipment calibration.
