About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Facility Manager to oversee the daily operations, safety, and long-term planning of our Technology Center and physical infrastructure. This role ensures our work environment is safe, efficient, and well-maintained-supporting the needs of our employees and overall business objectives. Facility Managers play a central role in maintaining building systems, coordinating vendors, managing budgets, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance & Operations
Oversee routine and preventive maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and safety systems. Conduct regular facility inspections and coordinate repairs or renovations as needed through interactions with outside venders and services. Ensure all facility systems operate reliably to support daily business functions.
Health, Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, building, and environmental regulations. Lead safety audits, risk assessments, and emergency preparedness planning. Maintain appropriate security measures in coordination with vendors or internal teams.
Space Planning & Utilization
Optimize building layouts to enhance productivity and space efficiency. Oversee departmental moves, workspace reconfigurations, and expansion projects.
Budget & Vendor Management
Develop, manage, and forecast facility operating and capital budgets. Negotiate and manage contracts for cleaning, security, maintenance, and other services. Monitor vendor performance and ensure adherence to service-level agreements.
Sustainability & Efficiency
Implement energyefficiency initiatives and facility sustainability programs. Oversee recycling, waste management, and eco-friendly building practices.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Strong mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems knowledge. Excellent organizational, multitasking, and leadership abilities. Experience managing budgets and coordinating multiple vendors or contractors. Experience maintaining Clean Room facilties.
Preferred Qualifications
Professional certification such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM). Experience overseeing facility or construction projects. Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability standards.
