Position: Roll Tender

Location: Arlington, TX
Schedule: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (12-hour shifts, overtime as needed)

Looking for a hands-on role where you can make a big impact? Pregis is seeking a Roll Tender to support our pressroom operations and keep production running smoothly. If you're detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this could be your next career move!

What You'll Do

• Prepare make-ready materials (plates, glue pads, etc.) and ensure they're ready before press setup begins.
• Maintain inventory of press rollers, cylinders, and bearings-keeping everything organized and ready for use.
• Ensure used rollers are reworked promptly and consumables are stocked for press crews.
• Keep the plant clean and organized through assigned housekeeping projects.
• Safely manage solvents, glue, oil, and waste products in compliance with safety standards.
• Change glue totes as needed and assist press crews with consumables.
• Actively participate in Pregis' apprenticeship program for continuous improvement.
• Follow all safety rules and maintain a clean, efficient workspace.

What We're Looking For

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and good math skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and work in warm, humid conditions.
• A team player who communicates respectfully and thrives in a continuous improvement culture.
