We are looking for a great new colleague to join us as aM&A Legal Counselin our Corporate Legal and M&A team. Could that be you?

With ambitious growth targets, we are looking for the right person to work with legal support to the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) team to support our M&A agenda. Here you willlead the legal workstreamon M&A transactions in close cooperation with the M&A team and the relevant business unit. This includes coordinating internal and external due diligence, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, and advising on deal structure, risk allocation, and key legal issues. You will have a visible and impactful role, often acting as the main legal point of contact on specific deals.

Yourtouchpoints will span the entire organization. You will collaborate with colleagues across all teams, including finance, tax, IP, regulatory, HR, operations, and the executive management, ensuring alignment across and effective execution of our transaction strategy. Externally, you will interact with counterparties, external counsel, financial advisors, and other stakeholders, representing our company's interests in a professional and solution-oriented manner.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Drive and support the M&A processes including process handling and negotiations re acquisitions, joint ventures and other strategic projects

  • Work with the relevant business unit and M&A team to ensure proper due diligence together with both internal stakeholders and instruct and lead external legal counsels.

  • Advice on deal structure in collaboration with tax and other relevant functions

  • Draft and negotiate transaction documents

  • Ensure regulatory merger clearance is evaluated and drive such processes if relevant

  • Develop in-depth understanding and relationship with M&A and the business across

The role includes an expected travel activity of approximately20 days yearly. This is driven by ourglobal market presenceandinternational reach, with close collaboration across regions.

Relevant professional skills and experience:

  • Legal educational background

  • Strong M&A experience, having managed the full process from Due Diligence to deal closure

  • Solid stakeholder management on all levels of the organization - both internally and externally

  • Project management experience

The ideal candidate is both proactive and structured with strong prioritization skills, have a development-oriented mindset with a natural drive for improvement, and can work independently while showing initiative and ownership. You are a strong communicator who works effectively with stakeholders across the organization and with external advisors and communicates confidently in English, both in writing and speaking.

Location: Flexible, but preferably from one of our global offices
