Title: Building Inspector Location: Dallas, TX 75207 Duration: 6+ Months Pay rate: $24.34/hr. on w2 Without benefits. Shift timings: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. BG/DT required: Yes Job Description: Performs inspections on new and existing residential structures to ensure compliance with applicable code and zoning ordinances. Review programs to ensure that programs cost objectives and activities are monitored for compliance and meet required deliverables of the respective programs/services areas. Performs the Internal Review Process (IRP) and provide assistance in other monitoring and compliance related activities. Audits cash receipts for department against stated controls to ensure balance with ledger amounts and appropriate control are being adhered. Works in conjunction with the Senior Program Monitor and assists in the preparation of monthly reports, audit papers and other reports as required. Develops control tools for review process and completes ICQ's for all programs for the department. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required: Education and experience equivalent to an Associate's degree. One (1) year of work related experience. Must possess a valid TX driver's license, with a good driving record. Bilingual - Preferably bilingual.
