Position Summary

Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Senior Network Services Professional supporting a high priority acquisition mission within the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's C3I and Infrastructure Division (AFLCMC/HNI).

The C3I and Infrastructure Division (AFLCMC/HNI) focuses on providing enterprise support to over 110 active Air Force, Air National Guard (ANG), and Air Force Reserve installations and bases. The office also provides technical and policy support and provides C3I infrastructure for the USAF enterprise applications.

This is a full-time position located at Hanscom AFB, Bedford, MA. In this role, you will advise and support work involving the planning, analysis, design, development, testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation, implementation, integration, maintenance, and/or management of networked systems used for the transmission of information in voice, data, and/or video formats.



Responsibilities

The candidate shall advise and support work that involves the planning, analysis, design, development, testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation, implementation, integration, maintenance, and/or management of networked systems used for the transmission of information in voice, data, and/or video formats.

Functions required to be performed by individuals in this specialty may include:

    Analyzing and recommending network requirements.
  • Recommending and maintaining network architecture and infrastructure.
  • Analyzing network workload.
  • Monitoring network capacity and performance.
  • Diagnosing and resolving network problems.
  • Recommending network backup and recovery procedures.
  • Installing, testing, maintaining, and upgrading network operating systems software

  • Ensuring the rigorous application of information security/cybersecurity policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of network services



Qualifications

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

Minimum Required Qualifications

Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret Level Clerance

Preferred Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree

Years of experience: 10+ years of experience five of which must be in the DoD

Technical Skills

  • Network requirements analysis and network design support

  • Network architecture and infrastructure support

  • Network performance monitoring and workload analysis

  • Troubleshooting and network problem resolution

  • Backup and recovery planning support

  • Network operating systems installation, maintenance, upgrades

  • Application of cybersecurity policies, principles, and practices for network services

  • Support to networked systems carrying voice, data, and/or video transmissions

Interpersonal Skills

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Ability to provide advisory support to Government stakeholders

  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving

  • Ability to work across technical teams and stakeholders

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Travel: Travel may be required per the customer's discretion
