Night Warehouse Line Picker

Job Brief:

• As a Night Warehouse Line Picker, you'll pick product orders using a voice-operated headset and make sure they are packed and ready to ship without any errors or damage.

Essential Functions:

• Hand selects orders for customers using a voice operated headset in a temperature-controlled environment.
• Be able to walk for most of the shift on concrete floors or rubber mats, searching for and retrieving product items from sales orders.
• Place correct shipping labels on products and move completed orders to shipping area.
• Bend down and stretch above head to retrieve products to fill sales orders for next day shipment.
• Carefully pick glass and other fragile product items and ensure they are wrapped and placed in appropriate shipping containers.
• Responsible for keeping work area and aisles clean and free from obstructions.
• Sort picked product by destination stop.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Work in an area with moving industrial equipment such as forklifts and electric stackers.
• Any other associated function required to complete the tasks assigned by the Manager.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities required:

• Must be able to read and write in English.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift items for most of your shift.
• Able to lift up to 45 pounds.

Work Hours:

• 4 days per week Monday to Thursday, 5pm start time, work until done.

Work all scheduled shifts to receive a $1.00 an hour attendance bonus.
