Role Overview

In this role, you will work in close collaboration withRegistered Nurses and physiciansto support unit and patient needs by performing essential technical and procedural activities.

The Surgical Technologist is an integral member of the healthcare team and contributes directly to thesafe, efficient, and high-quality operation of the operating room, supporting multiple surgical services as needed.

Key Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED or recognized secondary education credential)

  • Graduate of anaccredited Surgical Technology program

  • National certificationrequired(NBSTSA/CST)

  • BLS certification required bythetime of hire

  • Strong verbal communication skills and a high standard of professionalism and integrity

  • Proven interest in healthcare and ability to supportmultiple complex OR procedures and services

Additional Information:

  • Location: 1275 York Avenue, New York, NY

  • Schedule: 12-hour flex shifts 7am - 12am; Monday through Friday, rotating weekends and holidays

  • Reporting to: Nurse Leader

Pay Range: $34.57 - $53.65 FSLA Status: Non-Exempt
