Job Description

The Channel Manager, Web Platforms serves as both a strategic product manager for BOKF's internal and external web properties and a people leader for the Web Platform Team. This role is responsible for defining and executing the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our web platforms (Sitecore CMS and Thought Farmer intranet), ensuring these critical digital channels effectively serve both internal and external stakeholders.

This position requires a unique blend of product management expertise and team leadership skills. The Channel Manager will assess web technologies and platform maturity, collaborate closely with IT scrum teams on technical implementations, analyze user behavior through comprehensive analytics, and guide the Web Platform team in executing content strategy. The ideal candidate will balance strategic planning with operational excellence, driving continuous improvement in our web platform capabilities while developing and mentoring their team.

How You'll Spend Your Time
  • You will develop and maintain web platform roadmaps aligned with business goals, user needs, and long-term vision.
  • You will define platform strategy by translating business objectives into clear, actionable initiatives.
  • You will conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth and enhancement opportunities.
  • You will prioritize features and investments based on impact, feasibility, and available resources.
  • You will monitor platform performance, security, and scalability while leveraging data and testing to optimize effectiveness.
  • You will present strategic plans, ROI, and performance insights to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • You will collaborate crossfunctionally and serve as a liaison to IT agile teams, managing UAT and delivery workflows.
  • You will lead and mentor the web platform team while overseeing governance, process improvement, and stakeholder communication.
Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field of study and 5-7 years of directly related experience in product management, web platform management, or digital channel management, including 2+ years in a leadership or team management role and/or 7-9 years of equivalent work experience in digital product management with demonstrated leadership responsibilities; or equivalent combination of education/experience.

  • Proven experience developing product strategies, roadmaps, and managing web platform lifecycles.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and prioritize initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of CMS platforms (Sitecore preferred), intranet systems (Thought Farmer), and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Advanced proficiency with web analytics tools (Google Analytics) and data visualization/reporting.
  • Experience with user acceptance testing and quality assurance processes.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent organizational skills; able to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Strategic thinker with ability to balance long-term vision and day-to-day operations.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and influencing skills across all organizational levels.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication; skilled at presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and bridge business and IT perspectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proactive in identifying and resolving issues.
  • Experience driving adoption of new platforms, processes, and technologies.
  • Understanding of digital channels, SEO/AEO principles, and their impact on business outcomes.
  • User-focused mindset with ability to balance customer needs and business requirements.
