Turning Financial Data Into Market Impact

The Finance Analyst is the analytical and reporting expert for the Market Organization (MO). This position is responsible to work directly with the Finance Business Partner (FBP) and provide efficient and timely MO financial reporting. This role owns the non-compensation Operating Expense (OPEX) management strategy, reporting and budgetary process, as well as plays the lead in working with the sales force to identify and correct negative variances. The Finance Analyst II is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the targeting and compensation calculations for different types of indirect selling resources and is responsible to enforce the MO's pricing overwrite process.


What You'll do
  • Develop and executive the MO OPEX forecasting, reporting, and budgeting strategies
  • Challenge and improve current financial analytical processes and models
  • Partner with the FBP for the Rolling Forecast (RF) data modeling and creation of various MO targets
  • Develop and update MO analytics to support the MO's Champion 2020 business strategy
  • Improve the performance and compensation reporting for the MO's indirect selling resources
  • Train the sales force with regard to financial metrics, targets, and current performance
  • Provide financial review and impact analysis for pricing overwrite decisions
  • Coordinate and manage the customer rebate agreement process
  • Train other finance analysts
  • Provide ad hoc financial reporting and analysis as required
  • Additional duties as assigned

What You'll Bring
  • Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required
  • Minimum two years of experience in financial analyses and modeling required, with one year in a Market Organization related finance role preferred
  • Advanced understanding of the Hilti Business model and the content of the global strategy Champion 2020
  • Strong functional expertise in Finance and Global Steering 2.0
  • Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Advanced level knowledge in SAP/BI
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office
  • Demonstrated leadership in defining cross functional requirements and leading projects
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated coaching/training and change management skills
  • Quantitative, structured approach to projects and analysis preferred (e.g., Lean/Six Sigma experience)
  • International professional experience preferred
  • Up to 25% domestic travel required
