Stellar Solutions is seeking a V&V Engineer to develop verification artifacts, support interface and requirements management, and collaborate across teams to ensure end-to-end technical integrity and readiness for next-generation space capabilities.



Role/Responsibilities/Qualifications

In this role, you will sustain technical baseline discipline, coordinate change control, and support enterprise-level integrations across stakeholders to deliver mission-ready ground capabilities. You will apply requirements management best practices and collaborate to ensure consistent execution across the program.

Key responsibilities include

    Maintain cognizance over the technical baseline and support baseline documentation processes.

  • Prepare for and participate in configuration control boards and related forums.

  • Support requirements decomposition, traceability, and change impact assessment.

  • Coordinate with leadership to scope future actions and evolving requirements.

  • Support enterprise integrations (for example, relay ground station site engineering and C2).

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enforce processes and consistent execution.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years in systems engineering or integration.

  • Experience in requirements and interface management.

  • Experience performing systems engineering for satellite systems.

  • Experience supporting configuration control boards and technical forums.

  • Proficiency with DOORS, Cameo, or Jama; familiarity with Confluence and Jira.

  • Knowledge of the V&V lifecycle; Bachelor's degree in Engineering or closely related field.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in OPIR, defense weather, or tactical ISR; satellite subsystems; leading SEIT; MBSE and digital engineering.

Clearance & Additional Requirements

  • U.S. Citizen.

  • Secret security clearance.

  • On-site expectation: El Segundo, CA.

Compensation:

The typical annual salary range for this position is approximately, USD $125,000 - $150,000. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. In addition to salary, this position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus, profit sharing / retirement plan and other benefits (all in addition to annual base salary).



Deliverable(s)

Deliverables could be in the format of a report, software file, briefing, spreadsheet, or other document as directed by the Government, using government approved and/or mandated systems/software and processes governed by guidance/instructions/policy or direction. The nature of this work will, at times, require quick responses to stringent deadlines and always in a high quality, professional manner.
