POSITION: SENIOR RECRUITER

Position Summary:

We are committed to exceeding expectations and having a strong commitment to diversity.The Senior Recruiter manages full-cycle recruitment, acting as a strategic partner to business leaders, implementing sourcing plans for our senior and executive level and specialized positions, building pipelines and ensuring a great candidate and hiring manager experience. The Senior Recruiter leverages data to drive talent acquisition decisions, advises on market trends, makes process improvement recommendations, mentors recruiting team, all while managing complex requisitions. The Senior Recruiter serves as back up to the Talent Acquisition Director.

Key Result Areas:


  • End-to-end recruitment: manages the entire hiring process from sourcing to offer for senior and executive level and specialized positions.
  • Strategic sourcing: develops and executes strategies to find top talent, leveraging existing networks and specialized platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, community events, career fairs).
  • Industry expertise: maintains up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and talent needs across banking and related sectors, while understanding adjacent areas that impact recruitment strategies.
  • Candidate screening: deeply evaluates candidates for professional, leadership and technical skills, cultural fit, problem solving and alignment to CSB values.
  • Negotiating offers: Partners with the compensation team to negotiate employment offers and terms, ensuring alignment with internal guidelines and compliance with applicable labor laws.
  • Data Analysis: analyzes and reports on recruitment metrics to provide insights on hiring trends and process effectiveness.
  • Stakeholder management: Builds strong partnerships with hiring managers and leadership to understand business needs and strategic priorities, influence recruiting strategies, ensure clarity in the recruitment process, remove barriers, and drive results.
  • Complexity: manages high priority requisitions with unique challenges (e.g., senior level searches and highly specialized roles)
  • Projects: assist the department with projects and initiatives as assigned in support of HR strategic plan
  • Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 7+ years recruiting experience required, including senior, executive level sourcing
  • 5+ agency full cycle recruiting experience required, finance/banking recruiting experience preferred
  • Demonstrates understanding of banking and related sectors, key market trends, talent landscape, and applicable employment laws to inform recruiting strategies.
  • Strong relationship building, stakeholder management and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, consultative, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Ability to stay organized, prioritize and pay attention to detail
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing platforms; LinkedIn Recruiter is required, and familiarity with UKG Ready is a plus.
  • High degree of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality on all sensitive matters

Location: Hybrid/Waltham, MA Salary Range: $105,000 - $130,000

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Cambridge Savings Bank ranges from $105,000 - $130,000. Cambridge Saving Bank will determine actual compensation for the role based on factors including, but not limited to, the successful candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
