We believe waste is more than management, it's also an opportunity to innovate. As part of our Waste sector, you'll help shape solid waste infrastructure and environmental stewardship. With a top-tier industry ranking, our team delivers comprehensive solutions that span waste planning, remediation, engineering and implementation. You'll collaborate closely with clients and communities to design sustainable, cost-effective systems that contribute to cleaner environments and healthier communities. In the role of Environmental Planner 2, we'll count on you to:
  • Collect project-related data, which may include research, interviews with government agencies and clients, map reviews, field investigations for wetlands, and land use
  • Prepare constraints mapping
  • Conduct environmental impact assessments
  • Assist in preparation for and participation in public information meetings and hearings
  • Prepare, plan and analyze/review technical studies, permit applications, NEPA documents, and similar reports/documents
  • Assist public and private clients with permit coordination, acquisition and compliance for wetland impacts, bridge construction, and threatened/endangered species
  • Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
  • AICP certification
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or closely related field
  • A minimum of 5 years environmental experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Strong conceptual, organizational, problem-solving and research abilities
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
