Job Summary:



The Machine Operator I is responsible for operating machinery in a manufacturing environment to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



  • Operate machinery according to standard operating procedures.
  • Monitor production output and quality to meet specifications.
  • Operate overhead cranes for efficient material handling.
  • Operate variety of machines including Stud machine, Bridging Stacker, Stacker and Painters.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Adhere to safety protocols.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Regular, reliable, punctual and consistent attendance. Must be able to work regular and/or flexible hours or shifts, overtime, weekends as required.

Anticipated Pay Range
$18 per hour plus $2 Shift differential

Career Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:



  • Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.


  • Ability to obtain valid crane certification.



PHYSICAL DEMANDS:



  • Frequent communication with others to exchange information.


  • Frequent repetition of motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.


  • Frequent moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.


  • Frequent lifting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions.


  • Constantly remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.


  • Constantly thinking and processing information.


  • Constantly maintaining concentration and focus on tasks.



WORK ENVIRONMENT:



  • Manufacturing floor with machinery.


  • Exposure to airborne particles, loud noises, and extreme heat and cold.


  • Use of personal protection equipment is required
