Genesis10 is currently looking for a Senior Project Manager/Delivery Consultant for a 6+ month project for a Digital Banking client in Atlanta GA - must be able to go on site 3 days a week.
Compensation: $ 80-85 per hour, depending on skill and experience level. This is newly formed role; the right consultant should understand Cloud, good with cloud accounts, billing, FinOps, and financials. They will be creating this role, setting context, and driving efficiencies. This client is using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) 70% along with some Azure and AWS. Prefer candidates with experience with all 3 but GCP is required.. This client works with a large managed services client, and now want their own representative to drive efficiencies, challenge reports from the managed services client, evaluate resource management, cloud billing etc. They will need to work with various internal product teams and part of it could be recommending scaling back on some services. Need a confident, experienced, diplomatic person who can build relationships. This will entail lots of conversations on FinOps for input and then going to product team leaders to bring forth these changes, may encounter resistance; so need to be able to work/manage thru that in a positive way. Required Skills: Solid project, program, and/or portfolio management experience of 8+ years Cloud experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) along with Azure and/or AWS Some type of experience working with managed services Experience with FinOps and or Financial Services/Banking Proven experience with driving and executing efficiencies, process improvement, and cost saving measures.
