This Position reports to:

Operations Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to generate a detailed fabrication master schedule to maximize the use of resources and meet established production specifications and customer demand. Feed information on production capacity issues and material availability.

You will be mainly accountable for

  • Creates and maintains a detailed fabrication master schedule.
  • Monitors schedule adherence, identifies key root causes for deviation, and takes follow-up improvement action.
  • Translates projected forecasts, incoming volume, and work scopes into a production plan with a time-phased build schedule.
  • Identifies current planned level of demand and creates tactical production plans to meet the identified customer demand.
  • Analyzes production floor status through input/output control reporting.
  • Establishes priorities, sequence, and lead time of each operation to meet delivery dates per schedule/plan.
  • Evaluates and feeds information on production capacity issues, material availability, and lead time to team. Works with customers to provide appropriate delivery dates.
  • Engages in capacity and level loading management to ensure execution to master schedule and on time delivery to customers.
  • Manage expedite request, MRP exception messages, and SAP data integrity. Support continuous improvement activities.

Qualifications for the role

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • 5+ years working in a manufacturing environment

  • 3+ years work with SAP

  • Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Resource Management & Capacity Planning

  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required

  • Knowledge and use of tools - tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools, as needed.
