Job Title: Contracts Supervisor
Location: Hollywood, FL
Job Type: Hybrid (Onsite first month, then 2-3 days onsite)
Pay Range: $90,000-$100,000

Job Description:

The Contracts Supervisor supports the Purchasing Department by overseeing contract flow across internal departments including Purchasing, Legal, Accounting, Risk, IT, and end-user groups. This role is responsible for supervising contract staff, managing complex contracts, and directly handling vendor negotiations and contract execution. The position is senior and hands-on, combining leadership responsibilities with active operational involvement. The role reports to the Contract Unit Manager and supports high-level contract activity.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise contract staff and support the Contract Unit Manager
• Coordinate contract flow across internal departments to ensure compliance
• Manage vendor relations, negotiations, and contract execution
• Handle high-level, complex contracts while remaining operationally involved
• Guide staff communication with internal departments and suppliers
• Ensure compliance with purchasing policies
• Travel to reservations as needed and maintain schedule flexibility

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, Public Administration, Finance, or related field
• Master's degree strongly preferred
• 6+ years of experience as a Contract Administrator
• Minimum 2 years in a senior-level contract role
• Prior supervisory experience preferred
• Strong vendor negotiation and relationship management experience
• Experience in government or construction environments preferred
• Lawson experience highly desirable
• Experience with contract tracking systems preferred
