What You'll Do

Summary/Objective: The Business Analyst I is the first level in a four-level job family of Business Analyst roles. Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Creates artifacts helpful for the pod/project/initiative including but not limited to feature maps, process flows, visual mockups and high-level requirements.
- Ensures the team effectively categorizes work into manageable tasks that can be included and tracked in an agile framework methodology. Participates in cross-functional scrum teams as required. Ensures the team's assigned tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Plans and conducts requirements and design sessions for business requests.
- Performs gap analysis and compares and contrasts products against business area requirements for internally developed applications.
- Collaborates with QA in developing the QA Test Strategy.
- Owns the creation of the UAT Test Strategy & leads execution of User Acceptance Testing with each business area. UAT results are compared against requirements, results are updated and defects are tracked.
- Manages small scale projects, both in size and complexity, from concept to implementation with or without a Project Manager. For change management the individual may collaborate with their manager on how to address challenges.
- Communicates the progress of a project to key stakeholder throughout the SDLC.
- Manages activities to establish a target implementation date and escalate blockers as they arise.
- Performs other job-related functions as assigned by the manager.
