What You'll Do



Summary/Objective:

The Business Analyst I is the first level in a four-level job family of Business Analyst roles.

Essential Functions:

  • Creates artifacts helpful for the pod/project/initiative including but not limited to feature maps, process flows, visual mockups and high-level requirements.
  • Ensures the team effectively categorizes work into manageable tasks that can be included and tracked in an agile framework methodology. Participates in cross-functional scrum teams as required. Ensures the team's assigned tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  • Plans and conducts requirements and design sessions for business requests.
  • Performs gap analysis and compares and contrasts products against business area requirements for internally developed applications.
  • Collaborates with QA in developing the QA Test Strategy.
  • Owns the creation of the UAT Test Strategy & leads execution of User Acceptance Testing with each business area. UAT results are compared against requirements, results are updated and defects are tracked.
  • Manages small scale projects, both in size and complexity, from concept to implementation with or without a Project Manager. For change management the individual may collaborate with their manager on how to address challenges.
  • Communicates the progress of a project to key stakeholder throughout the SDLC.
  • Manages activities to establish a target implementation date and escalate blockers as they arise.
  • Performs other job-related functions as assigned by the manager.



What You'll Need



Education and Experience Requirements:



  • 0-2 Years of Experience (as a BA or in Financial Services)
  • Analytical, Business and Project Management skills with a focus on financial services applications.
  • Some knowledge of applicable systems, reporting capability and user functionality of systems.
  • Some experience in an Agile environment or knowledge of Agile theory.


Additional Eligibility Requirements:



  • Performs the Project Management Function as required for medium size projects.

Expected Pay Range

$70,100 - $78,900
