Management of Human Resources and materials to ensure all measurement systems on the plant floor and within our Metallurgist area are maintained. Ensure all inspection and metrology activities and equipment are maintained to align with FCA Policies. Specific Roles & Responsibilities:
- Supervise and assign (3) shift daily activities of UAW skilled workers.
- Ensure all Quality Department gauge training activities are aligned with business needs. Ensure corporate level 1 procedure(s) are followed.
- Responsible for accurate scheduling and payroll activities.
- Ensure adherence to plant budget requirements for manpower.
- Manage all laboratory processes, as support to production and engineering, through process changes.
- Ensure measurement systems and methods are maintained and improved, as required, within the laboratory.
- Organize 3rd party OEM vendor repair of all gauges and write requisitions for service.
- Code critical to spare part coding, ensuring accurate float levels of critical spares.
- Write, maintain and validate gauge Preventative Maintenance Activities. (TMS)
- Responsible for non-print gages in engage system for tracking and calibration.
- Responsible for gauge EWO process.
- Responsible for creating and reviewing gauge AM calendar activities for both plants.
- Responsible for Third Party Purchase services (PIC) creating recs, budgeting to forecast.
- Manage Quality purchases for the plant, using Pentasap software. Responsible for creating recs, validation and drive PO`s, approve all invoices for the Quality group.
- Responsible for creating and writing Quality Fund projects based on plant goals , specific needs , SPW driven objectives.
Basic Qualifications:
- Education level: Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited university
- Major(s): Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering
- Other four year engineering or technology degrees in combination with relevant experience will be considered
- Technical Experience: 2 years of quality, manufacturing, or design/release related experience.
- Proven skill set of extreme detail, and great understanding of GD&T
- Ability to thrive in a high stress environment and multitask
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education Level: Master's Degree of higher
- Major(s): Science or Business
- Knowledge of Stellantis Production Way(SPW)
- Experience in the design, testing, manufacture or assembly of powertrains and its related components
- Process Sign-Off
- Experience supervising hourly team members in a UAW environment
- Greenbelt / Blackbelt certification
- Language: Bilingual Verbal and written capability for English and Spanish
