Job Title: Practice Coordinator

Location(s): San Francisco, CA

Position Summary
The Practice Coordinator provides front-line administrative and operational support for a high-volume specialty clinic within Hematology, Blood & Marrow Transplant, and Cellular Therapy. This role supports daily clinic operations, patient scheduling, and communication to ensure a positive patient experience and efficient workflow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and appropriately route a high volume of incoming phone calls.
  • Schedule patient appointments accurately using the electronic medical record system.
  • Perform general administrative and clerical tasks to support clinic operations.
  • Act as a point of contact for patients, providers, and clinical staff.
  • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in scheduling and documentation.
  • Support a fast-paced clinical environment serving approximately 300 patients per day.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong customer service skills with clear and professional communication.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a high-volume healthcare setting.
  • Patient-focused mindset and professional demeanor.
Experience Requirements
  • Preferred: At least 6 months of experience in a healthcare or clinical administrative setting.
  • Preferred: Prior experience with Epic/EMR systems.
  • Open to candidates without prior Epic experience if overall skill set is strong.
Additional Notes
  • Onsite role only; no remote or hybrid option.
  • No weekend or on-call requirements.
