Job Summary:

YAGEO Group (KEMET entity) is seeking a Customer Specification Engineering (CSE) Supervisor at our Simpsonville, SC facility to join the corporate Compliance & Sustainability team. This is an onsite role. This person will perform the review of customer specifications for Ceramics Product Business Unit (PBU) products and provide responses to customers and engage with multiple internal departments within the organization. This person will also support Corporate Compliance projects, including U.S. Government requirements and trade compliance and the responsibilities described in detail below.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Review export-controlled customer product specifications and associated requests for Ceramics PBU via Customer Request Management module to determine ability to supply product to meet customer requirements. Reviews must follow a closed loop process in a timely manner meeting department and LT metrics.
  • Coordinate resolution with sales, PM, and engineering when the company position deviates from the customer requirement.
  • Maintain the ETBF Customer cross reference and associated ETBF tables to ensure proper sales order entry process.
  • Create and maintain C-specs in Oracle and ETBF/SAP 4/Hana.
  • Lead Compliance/CSE processes for new FELCO product manufacturing line in Ceramics PBU Monterrey, MX location, including support, training, and guidance for FELCO CSE team.
  • Support Tantalum PBU CSE team, as needed.
  • Respond to customer and interdepartmental inquiries related to compliance including code of conduct, business continuity, regulatory, and other related topics.
  • Support U.S. Government and trade compliance programs, including flowdown regulations, export-control projects, export licensing, security agreements, M&A processes, etc.
  • Participate in Compliance & Sustainability department projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.
