Talgo Inc. refurbishes passenger railcars for LA MetroLink at our Milwaukee facility, focusing on high quality mechanical and structural work to extend the service life of the railcars for another 30 years.

We are seeking a part-time IT Support Technician to provide day-to-day technical support for our Milwaukee facility while collaborating with Talgo's global IT team based in Spain. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical fundamentals, excellent customer service skills, and a problem-solving mindset.

What You'll Do:

• Provide end-user support for desktops, laptops, printers, networks, email, and internet-related issues
• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade computer hardware, operating systems, and proprietary software
• Support VPN access, network drives, and workstation connectivity
• Assist with hardware and software deployment planning and execution
• Collaborate with Talgo Group IT (Spain) on help desk tickets and issue resolution
• Maintain the Talgo Inc. Microsoft SharePoint page and prepare reports as needed

What We're Looking For:

• Associate degree in Information Technology or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
• Strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and common tech products
• Working knowledge of Windows 11, Windows Server basics, and Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with Active Directory concepts and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS)
• Exposure to routers, firewalls, and switches preferred but not required
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
• Some travel may be required
