We are seeking a collaborative, entrepreneurial, and results-driven marketing leader to shape and execute Empower AI's enterprise marketing strategy. This role is critical to how Empower AI positions itself in the Federal market, supports strategic priority pursuits, and builds a scalable, multi-year marketing foundation for sustained growth. This position requires 2-3 days a week in our Reston, Va. office.

The Director of Marketing will own Empower AI's brand, messaging, digital presence, and campaign execution. You will lead the evolution of our website, marketing infrastructure, and demand-generation efforts while partnering closely with Business Development, Capture, and Executive Leadership to support priority opportunities and long-term growth objectives.

This is a hands-on leadership role for a self-starter who can both set strategy and execute.

You will report to the Vice President of Proposals and Growth Operations and serve as a key member of the growth leadership team.

Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy & Leadership

Develop and execute a multi-year marketing strategy aligned to Empower AI's corporate growth goals and business unit priorities.
• Define and evolve Empower AI's brand positioning, value propositions, and messaging across Federal civilian, defense, and intelligence markets.
• Serve as the internal owner of marketing strategy, priorities, and execution cadence.

Digital & Brand Presence

• Lead a full revamp and ongoing optimization of the Empower AI website, ensuring it supports brand credibility, customer engagement, and pursuit alignment.
• Own digital channels including website content, SEO, social media, email marketing, and thought-leadership platforms.
• Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all internal and external touchpoints.

Campaigns & Priority Pursuit Support

• Design and execute targeted marketing campaigns aligned to strategic priority pursuits, key customers, and growth initiatives.
• Partner with Business Development and Capture teams to develop campaigns that support pipeline creation, customer engagement, and pWin improvement.
• Build reusable marketing toolkits (one-pagers, microsites, briefs, presentations) tailored to high-value opportunities.

Content & Thought Leadership

• Lead development of compelling content including white papers, case studies, solution briefs, blogs, and executive-level messaging.
• Position Empower AI leaders as trusted voices in AI, digital transformation, and Federal mission outcomes.
• Coordinate marketing calendars to support major pursuits, events, and announcements.

Marketing Operations & Measurement

• Establish marketing processes, workflows, and performance metrics.
• Track and report on campaign effectiveness, engagement, and contribution to pipeline and growth objectives.
• Manage vendors, agencies, and contractors as needed to scale execution.

Requirements:

• Proven ability to build and lead enterprise marketing strategies in complex, B2B or Federal environments.
• Strong understanding of Federal Government markets, buyers, and acquisition cycles.
• Experience developing marketing campaigns that align directly to business development and capture priorities.
• Demonstrated success leading website strategy, digital marketing, and brand transformation efforts.
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
• Highly organized self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and execute independently.
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to influence across functions without direct authority.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate strategy into measurable outcomes.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in marketing roles supporting Federal Government or government-adjacent organizations.
• Experience in a Federal services firm, technology company, or professional services organization strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent professional experience.

• Must be within a reasonable commuting distance of Reston, VA.
