Overview

The Full Stack Software Engineer will design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across a modern full-stack technology environment. This role combines software engineering, cloud development, cybersecurity operations, and DevOps practices to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing applications and infrastructure. The successful candidate will build front-end and back-end solutions, automate data exchange through APIs, support vulnerability management activities, and communicate technical designs to stakeholders.


What will you do?

  • Design, develop, test, implement, and support full-stack software solutions using modern development tools and frameworks.
  • Build, deploy, and enhance front-end and back-end application capabilities.
  • Develop ad-hoc scripts using Python and JSON to automate workflows and system tasks.
  • Work with AWS cloud services to build and maintain scalable application environments.
  • Utilize Git and GitHub workflows for version control and collaborative development.
  • Develop and integrate APIs and write scripts to push and pull data from databases.
  • Create, deploy, and maintain relational and non-relational databases.
  • Identify and recommend tools and solutions that improve efficiency, scalability, and service quality.
  • Conduct network and vulnerability scanning using tools such as Nmap and Rapid7 Nexpose.
  • Review vulnerability and system reports and provide basic analysis of findings.
  • Remediate system and application vulnerabilities in coordination with security teams.
  • Support cybersecurity operations by applying knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and web/email protocols.
  • Communicate software and system design issues to customers and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to improving responses to Requests for Information (RFIs) through technical input.
  • Collaborate in team environments, providing written and verbal updates on technical progress.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Geospatial Intelligence, Geography, Remote Sensing, Intelligence Studies, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated experience designing and developing full-stack technical solutions.

  • Proficiency in Python and experience writing ad-hoc scripts using Python and JSON.

  • Experience developing with TypeScript and React.js.

  • Hands-on experience working with APIs and database integration.

  • Experience creating and deploying databases.

  • Experience with AWS core services and cloud-based architectures.

  • Experience using Git and GitHub development processes.

  • Experience with Docker containers and secure remote access solutions (e.g., bastion sessions).

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals, including networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, web and email protocols).

  • Experience conducting vulnerability scanning and remediating system vulnerabilities.

  • Ability to review technical reports and provide basic analysis of findings.

  • Strong communication skills for explaining technical designs to customers and stakeholders.
