What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
• Perform regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and reporting any suspicious activity.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and first responders during emergencies and/or drills, providing support as needed.
• Remain alert and attentive to surroundings to help to deter and report potential security-related risks within the healthcare location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
