The time commitment for this role is flexible. Data collection scheduling will be worked around the employee's schedule and includes the potential for business hours, evenings, and/or weekends depending on the employee's availability. Hours per week are flexible as well with no required minimum. Each collection takes approximately 1-2 hours, and there may be opportunities to work 3-5 times per week. Employees do not have to commit to all available hours.

Job duties:

• operating a custom video radiography (fluoroscopy) system during participant data collections
• Opportunities to take on additional research responsibilities including manuscript authorship and/or research presentations will be available, though not required
• All necessary training will be provided

Required Qualifications:

  • doctor of osteopathic medicine (DO)
  • doctor of chiropractic (DC)

  • physician assistant (PA), or
  • registered radiologist assistant (RRA)

The Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at the University of Minnesota was created more than 50 years ago in response to a legislative mandate to train primary care physicians. The mission of the Rehabilitation Science Graduate Program is to discover and disseminate rehabilitation knowledge and improve the quality of life, participation, health, performance and well-being of people in Minnesota and throughout the world. Pay Range: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
