OVERVIEW:

Working as Full-time Industrial Services Inside Sales Lead for Fastenal's Industrial Services department, you will lead the day-to-day operations of our inside sales/quoter team. This position will require a goal minded and customer service focused individual to lead the team in the quoting processes, pricing, quality, on time delivery, solution selling, and continuous improvement projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

o Leading and training team members

o Reviewing quotes for pricing and material accuracy

o Providing customer support to our branches

o Processing and issuing work orders for production

o Communicating order information to various departments including production employees and sales

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:

o 1 year of Fastenal work experience OR prior quoting, inside sales, or customer service work experience

o Excellent written and oral communication skills

o Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency

o Highly motivated, self-directed and customer service oriented

o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing skills

o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment

o Work independently, as well as, in a team environment

o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork

o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

o Previous print reading or design experience

o Knowledge of industrial products and services

COMPENSATION:

The base pay range for this position is $50,000 - 75,000. In addition to base pay, this position is also eligible for a bonus and/or commission.
