AI Engineer ***As required by our governmental client, U.S. Citizenship is required. Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearence and IRS suitability/Public Trust (candidates with an active IRS suitability/Public Trust are preferred) *** The AI Engineer will be a key contributor to the IRS Unified API (UAPI) initiative, focusing on building and deploying AI/ML solutions that integrate with modernized APIs and legacy systems. This role involves designing and implementing machine learning models, enabling AIdriven API development, and supporting workflows such as automated language conversion (COBOL to modern languages), model deployment, inference, and feedback loops. The engineer will collaborate with data and API teams to deliver secure, scalable, and production-ready AI capabilities aligned with IRS standards. Compensation & Benefits: Estimated Starting Salary Range for AI Engineer: $110-140K Pay commensurate with experience. Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice. AI Engineer Responsibilities Include:
versioning, monitoring, and retraining using tools like MLflow, Docker, and Kubernetes.
