Supply Aide

Position Purpose:

Under the direction of the Department Supervisor, this position unloads shipments and cart washers stocks shelves as supplies as needed, fills orders from departmental requisitions, delivers stock and non-stock supplies to requesting departments, and may work with linen for departmental needs and case cart logistics

Nature and Scope:

This position is responsible for the continuous replenishment and/or timely flow of supplies to all departments authorized to draw them, (including Renown Health affiliates). This position also delivers non-stock items throughout the facility and is responsible for the documentation that accompanies these deliveries. This position makes weekly deliveries and pickups at the offsite storage facility also on a pre-arranged basis.

In the sterile processing environment, the incumbent is responsible for the timely flow of case carts through the department (e.g., getting direct case carts from the OR's staging area, watching for and avoiding overflow, putting clean carts away).

This position is challenged to accurately fill and deliver departmental orders from as many as five inventory locations. Other related duties and overtime projects may be required.

This position must refer to the department leadership for decisions regarding the permanent placement of stock items, as well as problems communicated by staff.

This position does not provide patient care.

Minimum Qualifications: Requirements - Required and/or Preferred

Education:

Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking English.

Experience:

Candidates with computer experience, picking experience, and/or receiving experience will be given preference.

License(s):

Ability to obtain and maintain a State of Nevada Driver's license. (not required for 200227, 200581 & 200510)

Certification(s):

None.

Computer / Typing:

Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computers skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
