Position Overview:

Insight is excited to announce our 2026 Summer Internship program! We are looking for motivated rising college seniors to join our 10-week, full-time, paid internship starting on June 1, 2026.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have an anticipated graduation date of December 2026 or May 2027.
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited Undergraduate degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Available for the full internship duration from June 1 to August 7, 2026
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn, and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule on-site at our Charlotte office

Responsibilities:

Interns will gain hands-on experience withMicrosoft Cloud, AI and Data technologieswhile supporting client-facing and internal projects. Activities may include:

  • Exploring and building AI solutions usingMicrosoft CopilotandPrompt Engineering best practices.
  • Designing and automating workflows with thePower Platform(Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
  • Writing and optimizing SQL queries and basic programming scripts to support data analysis and integration tasks.
  • ApplyingAzure AI Fundamentalsknowledge to develop proof-of-concept solutions.
  • UsingGit version controlto collaborate on code and manage project files.
  • Participating in structured problem-solving sessions to address technical challenges.
  • Engaging in proactive learning to stay current with emerging AI and data technologies.

Required Skills:

  • Understanding ofcore programming conceptsand SQL.
  • Familiarity withMicrosoft Copilotand AI-assisted productivity tools.
  • Experience or coursework in thePower Platform.
  • Knowledge ofAzure AI Fundamentalsconcepts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work through structured solution approaches.
  • Proactive learner with curiosity for new technologies.
  • Ability to useGit version controlfor collaborative development.
  • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate and work independently.

What You Need

  • Bachelor's degree in progress in Computer Science, Data Science, IT, or related field of study.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic coding tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a calm and professional manner.
  • Ability to tactfully handle confidential documents and information.
