We're hiring motivated Cable Technicians to support a largescale data center buildout in Temple, TX. This project is entry-level (0-1+ years) or trade school background with major opportunities for longterm growth. * Why This Opportunity Stands Out* * 1+ year data center buildout with potential for 2+ years of ongoing work * Massive growth opportunities across telecom, security, and communications * Perfect for entrylevel candidates or tradeschool grads looking to grow their skills * Overtime potential as the project ramps up * Career advancement for individuals who work hard and want to learn * What You'll Do* * Pull, run, and terminate Cat6 and fiber cabling * Assist higherlevel technicians * Install wireways, cable trays, buss duct, switches, and receptacles * Build out telecom closets: racks, patch panels, grounding, backboards * Use hand & power tools (ladders, drills, cutters, etc.) * Work indoors/outdoors on an active construction site * Lift up to 40 lbs and work at heights * Schedule* We offer steady fulltime hours with the need for schedule flexibility. * Expect long shifts within daytime construction hours * Ability to work between Monday-Thursday or Monday-Friday depending on project needs * Must be comfortable working up to ~50 hours per week at times as the project ramps * This is ideal for candidates wanting consistent hours and overtime opportunities. * Requirements* * Entry-level OK (0-1+ years) or trade school background * Comfortable working at heights * OSHA10 certified (or ability to obtain) * Reliable transportation to the Temple site * Valid driver's license * Must have basic tools: screwdrivers, snips, pliers, hammer, snips, tape measure, level, flashlight, gloves, etc. * PPE* * Steeltoe boots required * Hard hat, vest, gloves, and safety glasses provided * Work Environment* You will be part of a major data center construction project - a fast-paced environment with tons of learning opportunities and exposure to advanced infrastructure builds. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Temple, TX. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.00 - $24.00/hr.
