The Microsoft Turing team is an innovative research and engineering team working onstate-of-the-artdeep learning models to power end user experiences across the company.Senior Applied Scientistsand software engineers in the Turing team work together to push the boundaries of large-scale deep learning models on Turing's world class distributed training infrastructure. The team is pioneeringsearchand the core copilot experiences across Microsoft's ecosystem.
In addition to ensuring that Microsoft ispushing thestate-of-the-artlarge-scale models, the Turing team also works onimprovingexperiences acrossMicrosoft's products and servicesby working on high value scenarios.The Turing team has shippedcapabilitiesacrossall ofmanyMicrosoftscenariosincluding M365 Copilots, Bing Chat, semantic search for enterpriseandknowledge management,quick reply on Outlook,Smart Compose features in Word,image enhancement models, image search models, as well as many other features across Office, Bing, and Xbox.Most recently, the Turing team launched Analyst Agent in M365 Copilot-one of the first reasoning-powered agents of its kind. Applied Sciences IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
