The Sr. Test and Data Validation Engineer provides engineering and technical support to plan, execute, analyze, and report test and data evaluation activities across programs and enterprise initiatives. The individual ensures systems, software, and integrated capabilities meet defined requirements, performance standards, and operational needs prior to acceptance and deployment.

Responsibilities include supporting development of test strategies, test plans, test procedures, and test reports; coordinating and executing developmental, integration, and acceptance testing; and supporting verification and validation of requirements. The Sr. Test and Data Validation Engineer supports test readiness reviews, test execution, and issue resolution to ensure testing activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved plans.

Additional duties include collecting, analyzing, and documenting test data; tracking defects and corrective actions; supporting configuration and change impact assessments from a test perspective; and assisting with Government Acceptance Testing (GAT), operational testing, and training events. The role collaborates closely with systems engineers, software engineers, requirements engineers, safety engineers, and program managers to ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and results.

The Sr. Test and Data Validation Engineer supports continuous improvement of test processes and provides technical recommendations to improve system performance, reliability, and readiness.

Required Education

• 
  

  Bachelor's degree in engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline

  
  

Required Experience

• 
  

  Minimum of 10 years of experience supporting test and data validation engineering test and evaluation activities within a DoD, Federal, or enterprise environment

  Demonstrated experience with:

  Test planning, execution, and reporting

  Verification and validation of system requirements

  Test data analysis and defect tracking
