Machine Maintenance and Repair


The Role:



  • Installs and maintains a wide variety of complex machine tools such as horizontal and vertical boring machines, automatic screw machines, lathes, grinders and milling machines.
  • Lays out and performs complicated machining and bench operations on the replacement and repairing of parts
  • Diagnoses and remedies complex machine issues
  • Tears down and reassembles sophisticated mechanisms involving highly skilled fitting of bearings and spindles, coordinating cams and gears aligning and adjusting of clutches, brakes and couplings etc




Requirements:



  • Experience in a manufacturing/machining environment.
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a machine repair professional.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of shop mathematics.
  • Available to be assigned to any shift.
  • Minimum of High School or GED diploma.
