Come join this exciting and growing team on our monumental evolution of Azure cloud hardware and Microsoft! #azurehwjobs #CHIE #NICE Responsibilities Lead a virtual team of functional leads including members from hardware and software engineering, sourcing, supply chain,networkingand datacenter operations for documenting a clear Plan-of-Record (POR) for the new product development and leading the project team to meet stated milestones Technical Program Management for new Cloud hardware development. Drive the development, planning & execution of a holistic cross functional product development and/or launch strategy. Provides technical leadership andidentifytechnical risks. Collaborate with internal and external technology development partners to form a cohesive development plan. Have an in-depth understanding of the product technical requirements, milestones,deliverablesand interdependencies forestablishingan accurateand effective project infrastructure. Leverage experience and engineering skills to solve problems, fillgapsand achieveobjectivesthrough a cross functional team. Responsible for effective communication and escalation of risks and dependencies while ensuringtimelydecisions are being made. Hold accountability for team and most or all portions of the work to deliver best in class architecture solutions Conducts risk management efforts in new product introduction, scenario planning and mitigation of risks, recovery from risks. Communicate to and regularly interact with senior management, highlighting risks across functional teams and providing recommendations to support product level decisions Operate effectively inambiguity. Applyprocesswhere it creates value, and design process whereit'sneeded. Recognize the situations where each approach is mostappropriate. Ensure cross functional alignment: generating clarity, tracking towards development milestones and overall readiness for all new Data Center infrastructure development, launch, and deployments. Use program management tools and communication methods to ensurecommon understandingof program plan of record to stakeholders Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience. 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects. Other Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. Preferred Qualifications: BS in Engineering preferably in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience. Engineering degree preferred but notrequired. 5+ years of experience in a leadership role driving technical HW + SW projects from requirements through launch, including managing complex project schedules, removingroadblocksand keeping processes running smoothly. 3+ years of experience providing communications and program updates at an executive level Ability to partner closely with cross-functional teams to define, prioritize, and implement features, infrastructure, processes, and workflows. Ability to create and operationalize processes to transform the effectiveness of the organizationwith respect to meeting business goals. Coach, enable and grow Program Managerswithin the team and our partners. Can align key stakeholders, and manage projects through milestones to completion on schedule and inbudget Ability tomonitorand measure engineering impact and performance results by tracking key performanceindicators Excellent technical design, problem solving, debugging and communication skills Ability to deal with ambiguity, assess opportunities and develop principles to prioritize multiple strategic and tactical options, and drive issues to closure with a high bar onquality Proven ability to work and collaborate with a wide range of business stakeholders to achieve results andimpact Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences (Senior Executives, IT management, etc.) Supplier management experience for ODMs, SIs, and IHVs #azurehwjobs #SCHIE #NICE Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
