Position Title: Maintenance Technician
Salary: $58,240-$68,640 per year Shift: 1st Hours: 5:00am-3:00pm QPS Employment Group has a great Maintenance Technician position available at a company in Rockford, IL. This is a 1st shift, direct hire position. Maintenance Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service. - Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. - Utilizes skills including but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines. - Diagnoses problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments. - Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties. - Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to supervisor. - Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. - Perform all other duties as assigned or needed. Maintenance Technician Requirements: - Requires a high school diploma/GED. - An AA degree or certification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance a plus. - 3 to 5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience; strong CNC Machine Tool repair experience, AC/DC drive controls, PLC's and Hydraulics. - Strong troubleshooting skills. - Must be highly motivated and able to work independently. - Must be a team player with a positive outlook. david.franz@qpsemployment.com IND999 About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
