University Centers and Events (UCE), provides quality programs, services, and facilities that enhance the educational experience and create a community for students, faculty, staff, alumni, and guests. We assist students to become good citizens of a global community. Position Overview This position will oversee evening operations of the University Union, providing additional support to student staff, and serving as a liaison with guests and university users. This position will assist with the overall management and security of the facility. This position will analyze situations that occur and coordinate with additional staff as needed, such as campus police, Union maintenance staff, UNT facilities on call, and external contractors or skilled labor, such as plumbers, elevator technicians, etc. This position will be main contact for access and security needs in the union after 5pm.will assist with the overall management and security of the facility. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma/GED equivalent and one year related experience in building operations and/or event facility management. Substitution of education for experience allowed. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Preferred Qualifications The preferred candidate will possess the following additional qualifications: Knowledge of database management and event management software preferred. Experience on a university or college campus. Required License/Registration/Certifications Job Duties
