Job Description




As a Security Officer - Flex Armed Patrol in Oregon, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated transportation locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires carrying a firearm and operating a vehicle as part of your daily responsibilities. You will contribute to a secure environment by remaining visible, interacting with people, and upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation in every interaction.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the transportation location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for suspicious activity and report findings according to established protocols.
  • Control access to restricted areas and verify credentials as required.
  • Maintain detailed records and logs of daily activities, incidents, and irregularities.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
  • Remain alert and prepared to act in accordance with Allied Universal procedures and client expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience are required.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
