Job Description

• At least 8 years of experience with implementing ITSM Processes including Incident, Problem and Change Management, Catalogue, CMDB, Portal and Integrations in ServiceNow platform.
• At least 6 years of experience in Configuration/Solutions evaluation/ Validation and deployment in ServiceNow ITOM, IT Operations Management - Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management.
• At least 8 years of experience in capturing requirements related to internal/external consulting, documenting, and mapping current business process.
• Working knowledge in ServiceNow IT Operations Management Solutions and be able to build or modify custom patterns and troubleshoot.
• Good understanding of basic application and network infrastructure and interdependencies.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to describe technical solutions in the terms of the business.
• Interacts cross functionally on matters that require coordination across organization and collaborates well with other groups, voluntarily shares information.
• Deep knowledge of ServiceNow Platform and Services.
• Deep knowledge of CSDM, CMDB, CI configuration classes, orchestration.
• Deep knowledge in ServiceNow ITOM portfolio.
• Strong hands-on experience in troubleshooting ServiceNow Discovery.
• Strong hands-on experience with REST and SOAP web services.
• Expertise with scripting languages such as PERL, JavaScript, Python, or Shell.
• Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle).
• Familiarity with systems monitoring, log investigation, and application awareness.
• Familiarity with user administration, Active Directory, LDAP, etc. and the ability to troubleshoot areas of user access.
• Knowledge of networking concepts such as IP Addressing, Firewalls, ports.
• Consultative skills for software service delivery to lead customers to improve their processes and organizational models.

• ServiceNow Implementation Specialist Certification.
• ServiceNow System Administrator Certification.

• Lead ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping project
• Strong hands-on experience in optimizing discovery, tailoring patterns and development.
• Strong hands-on experience across multiple ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping projects involving a variety of enterprise and open-source application server, database, network and operating systems.
• Validating discovery results and troubleshooting as required
• Assist with CMDB Processes and Best Practices
• Guide customer configuration/implementations of the ServiceNow ITOM Platform
• Prepare technical documentation as specified in customer contracts and as internally required
• Support sales of software and services through demonstrations, Proof of Concepts, and customer presentations
• Deliver projects on customer premise or remotely as required.
• Enhance customer knowledge in IT Operations Management with ITIL framework
• Provide value-based assessments and workshops to help the customer maximize business results from ServiceNow software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related degree is required.
