Security Officer - Armed Retail Patrol

As a Security Officer - Armed Retail Patrol in Eagle Pass, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer at a dynamic retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a strong visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This role requires driving and armed responsibilities as part of your daily functions. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding appropriately during emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe for suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas within the retail environment to support a secure atmosphere for customers and staff.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate any security-related concerns or incidents to Allied Universal management and/or law enforcement as needed.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with company and client procedures.
• Operate as an armed security professional in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations, maintaining proper control and handling of assigned equipment at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• A minimum of one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification for Texas is required.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
