We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Solution Architect, Dynamics 365, with Finance and Operations (F&O) and 1st and 3rd party Agents,who has a mix of hands on experience in selling business value solutions in highly competitive situations, business applications implementation, architectural design and strategic business acumen. Solution Architects must have a passion for the customer which is demonstrated through professionalism and striving for excellence in all aspects of the customer experience to become a valuable part of ourWW Center Of Excellence team in Industry Solutions Delivery. This position empowers customers and partners on their digital journey, from envisioning new possibilities to delivering solutions that result in targeted business outcomes and a great customer experience. You will have responsibility for delivering high quality architectural solutions and business outcomes based on the Microsoft AI Business Solutions. Demonstrating deep knowledge of Microsoft Solutions and offerings across the entire life-cycle, together with a critical focus on opportunity management, leadership and technical governance, this is your chance to drive transformational results and enable the realization of business strategy for Microsoft partners and customers This team works closely with the Microsoft product engineering and marketing teams forAI Business Solutionsto develop assets that help Microsoft develop partner capacity and scale towards accelerating usage of Microsoft Solutions. Responsibilities Partner Program Support: COE Technical Pre-Sales and readiness - Work directly with partners to help drive technical pre-sales motions with MicrosoftAI Business Solutions Understanding Customer/Partner Technical Environment Architecture Design and Deployment-Technical Solution Development: Developing technical solutions and ability to design, customize, or reapply technical solutions based on customer/partner needs or demands Intellectual Property and Practice Development Generate new and/or improvements to existing intellectual property.Identifieswhich ideas should be culled. Creates new intellectual property based on requirements from our stakeholders. Drives the re-use of intellectual property and recommends practices in both pre-sales and delivery. Participates and contributes to internal/external communities. Trusted Advisor Develop a network of internal/external relationships to build influence in addressing problems/ blockers andfacilitatingadditionalviews on the matter of interest. Stays up to date on Microsoft's technologies, products, and servicesin order tocommunicate Microsoft's mission, strategy, and capabilities. Understand competitor solutions andidentifieshow customer business value can be driven through Microsoft's offerings. Steers the customer/partner conversations to the benefits of the solution rather than the features and functionalities. Thought Leadership Share ideas, insight, and strategic, technical input with technical teams, internal communities across the field, and the larger virtual team across Microsoft using a thorough knowledge of specific Microsoft products and their context in the competitive landscape. Participate in external architect community events (e.g., conferences, seminars, technical meetups, Webcasts, blogs, hackathons) andshareslearnings withinternalteam. Acts a mentor to junior colleagues to educate them on technical and non-technical concepts. Qualifications Required/minimum qualifications Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 6+ years experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or technology domain (e.g., D365-Azure) OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or technology domain (e.g., D365-Azure) OR equivalent experience. 2+ years managing multiple projects or portfolios. 1+ year(s) experience leading blended, multidisciplinary teams. Additional or preferred qualifications Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or technology domain (e.g., Security) OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 12+ years experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or technology domain (e.g., D365-Azure) OR equivalent experience. 6+ years technical sales experience. 6+ years project management experience. 3+ years people management experience, including managing consultant practice managers, technical sales managers, and/or technical architect managers. Technical or Professional Certification in Domain (e.g., D365-Azure). Proven experience selling product and consulting engagements in competitive situations Experience which includes estimating, scoping, and writing effective statements of work that clearly set expectations and limit risk Demonstrated excellence at presenting complex development topics to both business executive and technical personnel An ability to articulate architectural differences between solution methods and the challenges and approaches to integrating solutions built on different platforms including a working knowledge of different architectural frameworks that may be used by our customers Working knowledge of specialized tools and solution providers whether they be Microsoft partners or competitors Solution Architecture IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $122,500 - $214,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $154,500 - $231,700 per year.
