You will support access control and report observations while delivering customer service to employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or policy concerns.
  • Monitor and control access at gates, doors, and designated entry points, including verifying credentials, checking deliveries, and directing visitors to the proper check-in location.
  • Observe and report security-related conditions such as propped doors, broken locks, unsecured equipment, or suspicious behavior, and escalate concerns through the site chain of command.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing initial assessment and coordinating with site contacts and public responders as directed.
  • Operate security-related systems such as CCTV, alarms, radios, and access control platforms as assigned, and document system activity per post orders.
  • Complete detailed, accurate reports including shift activity logs, incident reports, and patrol findings, and communicate key information during shift change.
  • Support traffic flow and parking control in designated areas during shift changes, deliveries, and special operations to reduce congestion and improve site order.
  • Assist with contractor and vendor processing by confirming authorization, issuing badges when applicable, and maintaining required logs and/or records.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support location operations while maintaining a professional presence and appearance.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
