Join Allied Universal at a busy retail and mall location as an unarmed Patrol Officer, conducting routine foot patrols, staying highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and supporting access control and customer needs with clear, professional communication. You will document observations, respond to alarms and/or unusual activity, and work as part of a caring, people-first team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and guided by integrity. Why Join Us: What You'll Do: - Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical calls, lost children, and property concerns.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, storefront corridors, loading and service areas, stairwells, and the exterior perimeter as assigned; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Monitor for and report suspicious activity and/or policy violations, helping to deter theft and other unwanted activity through high-visibility presence and timely communication.
- Provide access control support by observing entrances and exits, assisting with directions, and/or verifying authorization for restricted areas when assigned.
- Complete detailed reports of daily activity, incidents, and observations, and communicate updates to site management and Allied Universal supervision.
- Assist with crowd movement and/or line management during peak shopping periods and special events while maintaining a professional customer service approach.
- Use site radios, phones, and/or other systems to coordinate responses and request assistance from local emergency services when needed.
- Support emergency procedures such as fire alarms, evacuations, and severe weather actions in accordance with site instructions and Allied Universal guidelines.
- Perform additional security-related duties as assigned by site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
Minimum Requirements: - - Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- - Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- - Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- - A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- - Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- - Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- - Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- - A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
