As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests and tenants. This is a driving post. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within the retail and mall environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or incidents to the appropriate personnel in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
• Support the enforcement of property rules and regulations while maintaining a welcoming environment for all patrons and tenants.
• Assist visitors and tenants with directions and information as needed, providing a helpful and approachable presence.
• Collaborate with site management and law enforcement as required to address incidents and/or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
