The Opportunity:

UST is looking for a DevOps Engineer to support Development and support of DevOps automation framework. This position require night shift support. Work schedule is in Pacific Time.

Roles& Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance DevOps automation framework using Python, applying best practices for testing and code quality with tools such as pytest, pycov, pylint, and black. Demonstrate knowledge of Python packaging (wheels, pip) and adherence to PEP standards.
• Write robust, maintainable Python scripts to automate CI/CD processes, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and document Python automation solutions for efficient delivery and long-term maintainability.
• Bring experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub) and CI/CD automation tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, TeamCity, Docker, Kubernetes).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Excellent programming skills in Python, ability to use OOP
• Well versed in using DevOps tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, TeamCity, Docker, Kubernetes etc
• Good understanding of CI/CD processes and ability to automate them
• Familiarity with security and quality scan tools such as Coverity, Klocwork, Black Duck, Binary Scan Analysis, Trivy, and Bandit is an added advantage.
