Adobe Inc.
United States, California, San Francisco
Feb 21, 2026
The Opportunity

As a Senior Director, Marketing Strategy & Operations, you will be a strategic leader who applies world-class problem-solving skills to our most critical organizational challenges. This is not a project management role-it's a hands-on strategic position where you will lead and deliver high-impact initiatives that shape the future of Adobe's global marketing organization.

Drawing on your experience in top-tier management consulting, you will act as an internal consultant, leading cross-functional teams to tackle complex strategic questions, drive operational excellence, and influence senior leaders across the organization. You'll bring structure to ambiguity, guide data-driven decisions, and ensure we're always focused on the most important outcomes.

What you'll do
  • Lead Strategic Engagements: Own and drive complex, cross-functional projects from inception to completion. This includes defining the problem, structuring the work, creating a clear project plan, and delivering tangible recommendations.

  • Be a Trusted Partner: Act as a strategic advisor to senior marketing and business leaders, building strong relationships and providing insightful, data-backed guidance. Anticipate their needs and proactively identify opportunities to deliver value and optimize the functional business units.

  • Bring Rigor and Structure: Apply analytical frameworks and a structured approach to ambiguous organizational problems. Conduct analyses, synthesize complex information, and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations.

  • Influence and Align Stakeholders: Work across a diverse set of teams within the global marketing organization, drive alignment, and secure buy-in for your recommendations.

  • Develop and Mentor Talent: Coach and mentor junior team members and colleagues across the marketing organization, helping them develop their strategic thinking and analytical skills.

What you'll need to succeed

  • A Strategic Foundation: 5-7+ years of experience, with at least 3 years at a top-tier management consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey & Company, Bain & Company, Boston Consulting Group) or an equivalent strategic function within a global technology company.

  • Exceptional Problem-Solver: Demonstrated ability to break down complex problems, identify key drivers, and develop creative, impactful solutions.

  • Strong Communicator: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to senior executives.

  • Influence Without Authority: A track record of successfully leading teams and influencing stakeholders in a matrixed organization.

  • Analytical Acumen: A knack for working with data and using it to tell a compelling story and drive decision-making.

  • Passion for Marketing: A genuine interest in the evolving landscape of global marketing and a desire to help a world-class brand like Adobe continue to grow, scale and innovate.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree required; MBA from a top-tier program is a significant plus.
