About the role:

Our HR Technology teamis looking for a Technical Program Manager who can effectively lead product delivery in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate will possess a mix of delivery leadership, technical and functional fluency and effective communication and collaboration skills. Technical program managers are asked to be the glue for the team - they are problem solvers, consensus builders, and when required, fixers. We are looking for someone who can promote Agile principles while understanding how to build effective plans to deliver an enterprise business outcome.

What you will do :

  • Lead teams to accomplish a common outcome articulated with scope and measurable business impact.

  • Promote agile principles. Orchestrate iterative planning and sprint execution in Jira. Facilitate daily stand-ups across distributed teams, and drive sprint reviews and retrospectives to ensure consistent, incremental delivery of value.

  • Build effective plans. Partner across functional groups to identify resource, task, and project interdependencies to ensure seamless execution.

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues before they escalate.

  • Guide teams toward achieving clearly defined outcomes, with measurable scope and business impact. Set clear expectations and track progress against objectives.

  • Align & negotiate diverse interests and trade-offs to build consensus and buy-in that moves teams forward.

  • Apply a working understanding of technical components and overall systems design in an enterprise environment.

  • Demonstrate curiosity and build domain knowledge to sharpen the team's business context.

  • Partner with HR to ensure engineering teams have the requirements they need to deliver effective solutions.

  • Engage stakeholders with clear, concise, and audience-appropriate communication. Tailor messages to ensure understanding and alignment.

  • Establish and monitor project health metrics using available tools. Quickly analyze issues, identify root causes, create action plans, assess impact, and implement effective resolutions.

What you will need:

  • 5+ years progressive technology experience, preferably in HR technology, including being responsible for end-to-end program delivery and executive reporting.

  • 2+ years of experience working with Agile Software Development Methodology and hands-on JIRA experience.

  • Ability to develop and deliver compelling executive-level presentations.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights for decision-making and leverage data to improve operations

  • Ability to use standard business applications (Microsoft O365, Jira, Confluence, Power BI) to obtain/process data and develop reports

  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and teams in a fast-paced environment

  • Preferred experience with HR business processes, Workday & other HR applications

  • Graduate/Post graduate in BE/Btech, ME/MTech or MCA is preferred.

  • Excellent communication and prioritization skills.

  • Able to work independently or within a team proactively in a fast-paced AGILE-SCRUM environment.

  • Owns success - Takes responsibility for successful delivery of the solutions.

  • Strong desire to improve upon their skills in software development, frameworks, and technologies

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 108,000 USD - 148,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
